Indonesia is a country in South East Asia that is located between 2 continents (Asia and Australia) and 2 oceans (Indian and Pacific ocean). Indonesia is the largest archipelago country in the world which consists of 17.487 big and small islands. With the population of 222 million souls in 2006, Indonesia is the 4th largest country in the world and the largest Moslem population in the world; eventhough officially, Indonesia is not a Moslem country.
Indonesia is a republic that was fully sovereign in 17th August, 1945. Indonesia’s national anthem is “Indonesia Raya” which was written by W.R. Soepratman and Indonesia has a motto: “Bhinneka Tunggal Ika” — different but one. Indonesia’s national ideology is “Pancasila”. Indonesia’s currency is Rupiah.
